Since the discovery of the first ‘Forager Card’ deep in a remote cave in Altemira (Spain) more and more have been discovered in similar locations all over the world. An inventory of all living organisms hidden across the globe began revealing itself and the team at ‘Kin’ have been working to find them all. Samples of the living organisms are preserved indefinitely in a state of stasis within the structure of the card. An impossible fusion between natural and technological materials mean any attempts to date or in any way interact with the cards have proved futile. Why were these records taken? For future use on this planet? Or for reproduction on another? All we know is that life on Earth can now be collected, preserved and stored in a digital archive. Given the potential future importance of these ‘cards’, multiple digital backups must be spread across physical space. Play your part in protecting the future of life on our planet.
